What is a Team?
A team is any group of 10 people or more who want to participate in the Race as a group. This group may consist of friends, family, co-workers, church and civic groups, schools, children or any combination thereof. Team members do not have to participate in the same event. A team can have participants in the same event or a combination of events (5K, 10K, 1 mile, sleep in, etc.). There is no limit to the number of members you can have on your team.
The majority of all race participants for the Florida Suncoast Race for the Cure register as part of a team. Being part of a team is fun!
How do I organize a team?
Create a team online. Go into Race for the Cure Registration (use the register here button, accept the waiver, and select start a team). Once your team is created recruit team members, compete in the team competitions and have a great time at the Race.

2009 Teams Brochure
Team Pay
Companies wishing to pay all or a portion of their team registration fees will need to obtain a team code prior to team members registering as part of the team. To request a team code, email us at teams@komensuncoast.com
Team deadline:
Teams can register by mail with a postmark of September 16, 2009 or online until midnight on September 16, 2009. If the team deadline is missed, an individual can still register online until September 30th, and in person as late as Race Day, but their registration will not count towards team’s totals for the team competition.
